PS3 Slim To Ship Next Month?

23The PS3 Slim rumours continue. Apparently two Taiwanese companies (Foxconn and Pegatron) have been awarded the contract to manufacture the much-rumoured PS3 Slim. According to UDN, half the orders have gone to each company, with the units expected to start shipping in early July to “cope with the expected summer vacation demands”.
These two firms actually produced the original PS3, so this does ring true, and with the Japanese buying most of their games consoles in the hotter months, lets hope that the rumours are indeed true and we can finally put this particular rumour to rest. The units are expected to hit the market, if all this checks out, in August or September, so we’ll know very soon…
