Although Croteam had originally planned for a PSN version of forthcoming FPS remake Serious Sam HD, Croteam’s CEO Roman Ribaric has admitted to G4TV that they “couldn’t get additional financing to support [the] extra development time needed. It was either to do PSN by the same date or forget about it,” he said. “There was also a thought to find another team to do it, but nobody was either willing or realistically being able to do it in such short period.”
“We [have considered] doing PSN after we finish PC and XBLA,” he continued. “However, we keep hearing over and over from publishers, investors, marketing and other suits that players from one console, in this case PSN, wouldn’t want to get it later.” He referring to whether or not PS3 fans would want what would essentially be an Xbox 360 cast-off. “I would normally say that’s a lot of bull, but I will refrain here from my comment. What do your readers think?”
“It would feel perfect to have it on PSN as well,” he said. “However, we are a garage team of 20 people, although with a larger garage now, working on Serious Sam HD for PC and XBLA platforms. Along that, we are developing Serious Sam 3 and Serious Engine 3 tech for both platforms. Now, I know we are good, but we are not that good to add PSN and finish at the same time. Just kidding, we are that good, but we are not supermen.”

It is a good , fun game and it is becoming increasingly annoying that the 360 get things like this first but I still want it .

I like Roman Ribaric, that last paragraph is some very Serious Sam comedy. I would like to see HD on PSN but, like he says, I’d rather have 3

Serious Sam is a fantastic game. I loved it when I had an xbox (for a month). They should definitely bring this to PSN. It’s one of those classic comedy shooters.
DO IT !

It’s just another FPS game that I won’t play on a console unless it supports a mouse.

I’d rather have 3 but may pick this up if it had a demo. I wasn’t a big fan on SS on PC back in the day.

I had this game on the original xbox and it was like a 3D Doom. Great fun to play, i hope it gets a PSN release, i would definately buy it. It’s loads better than the recent Wolfenstein 3D that was released about a month ago.
How come PSN either gets arcade games well after 360 or just not at all?
I have both machines and while the 360 has a hell of a lot more arcade games on it, PSN games seem to be of a higher quality and most of em play full screen. 360 arcade games tend to have great big black borders at either side of the game screen and the only way to get it full screen is by playing the game in 480p which then results in a blurred picture.
Arcade games from 360 to PSN i would like to see…
REZ
A Kingdom for Keflings
Doom
Space invaders extreme
Can’t see it, but it would be nice.
