No, they never said that this would be free. What they said was they would release the free livery packs on the run up to the premium DLC release. Therefore, everyone enjoys some free stuff and then if you want some extra tracks and vehicles, you have to pay. Seems reasonable to me!

I am sure they said it was going to be free. WHat a Rip off if it isn’t. Livery packs are not proper DLC, just something to sweeten us up for having to fork out for the LONG AWAITED tracks.

I thought it was weird you didn’t list it on the weekly update at first. I figured it’d just be obvious what with the rather hefty update earlier this week, which as I’m sure we all know, actually contains the DLC. It’d just be stupid of them to give us the update then force us to wait a while before they allow us to unlock it. I just hope it’s at a reasonable price.

I hope it’s nothing more than 4.00, as that was the cost of the old motorstorm DLC. Bit skint at the moment aswell

The “variants” are Volcanic version of The Rift, Caldera Ridge and Wildfire.
They were featured on a trailer on the store a week or so back (had it sat unwatched on my PS3 for a while and am just watching it now)

It showcases the new vehicles and what looks like a new game mode involving hitting coloured barrels.

Ok, I thought we were getting it for free. The devs told us we would have weekly DLC for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift if I remember correctly… bullocks!

I’ll probably get this either way… so shame on me
