Today, for a brief period of time, a brand new Home Space was announced. We presume that the page went live prematurely, because it has since been pulled from the UK PlayStation site, but that didn’t stop some enterprising folk from grabbing the details. The Space, which will be themed around SingStar, will feature a music quiz (with prizes for your Home avatar) and, naturally, music. The screenshots are tiny, but we’ve included them for completeness.
Lets hope we hear more about this SingStar Space soon.

In a previous post on the forums TedtheDog (SCEE Home Community Manager) mentioned having 3 spaces and a apartment in QA. I guess this was the 3rd space and it didn’t make it past the testing..

Cool looks nice, hopefully home gets more integrated into the ps3 so it becomes more essential.

In Home Singstar would have been great.
People with the games being able to sing in there would be great.
Sony want Home to be the best social experience it can be, so why not get one of the best social games out there /properly/ integrated?

Sounds awesome.
With voice-chat not available in public spaces, will there be any singing? Would have been cool for a karaoke-style stage in the space.

This would be awesome if it becomes available. However i think that Sony will quote regional Copyright as a delay and not launch it with any decent features.

Cool, I almost think the Home team is spoiling us a bit now.
But I’m not complaining

At least they are working on new home stuff, a Kareoke stage would be fun.

Yeah, until a female avatar gets up there to sing Unbreak My Heart and ’she’ turns out to have a deep baritone voice.

Well it’s not being released today. I may not be able to actually get in Home at the mo, but I saw the message of the day. This isn’t coming today. Neither is the Buzz space.

I just want to be able to put my own pictures up in my paid-for lakeside house, put on my own HDD music, buy my own pool table and arcade cabinet and invite half a dozen friends over for a party. I’m wondering if we’ll ever get that over the torrent of pointless spaces and awful mini games like that helicopter thing and EAs diabolical “racing” (sic) game.
