Well a day after TSA’s King of Killzone tournament and our return from Helghan is delayed as we announce another exciting competition. This one is aimed at the whole TSA community and will see two lucky winners grab codes to download the Flash and Thunder pack for Guerrilla Games amazing title – Killzone 2.
This one will operate a little differently as we try to cater for all members, with and without the fantastic DLC for our favourite FPS. After Nofi did a quick cut ‘n shunt job we can now fit an additional 12 members in our honey wagon… eh – I mean TSA Tour bus. Meaning there is room for 32 players (including myself) to get involved with this one. It is really simple, as those playing to win the DLC codes will be on the ISA side and those that already have the Flash and Thunder pack can still play for TSA points, holding up a uranium rod to their eyes until they glow a nice amber colour, then joining the Helghast.
Everyone will get 30 TSA points for entering the competition and being a good sport, and the top two players on the ISA side will net the vouchers for the Flash and Thunder DLC regardless of which faction wins the match. It will be a full-blown warzone match with every mode played and no class restrictions, and we will be taking the battle to Salamun Market. The competition is to take place this Saturday the 4th July at 8pm British Summer Time, and the DLC vouchers are only available to European members as they are for the Euro store only. However, there are no restrictions on those joining the Helghast to play for points.
All entries are to be via email and must include your TSA and PSN ID’s, and state which side (ISA for DLC codes or Helghast simply for points) you want to play for. If more than 31 entries are received I shall pick names at random, and should there not be enough entries I shall make up the numbers with bots.
Remember: those playing for the Flash and Thunder pack on the ISA side do not need to win the match, but only the top two on the ISA side will net the codes for the DLC.
Closing date for entries is Friday 3rd July 9pm (BST) and all entries are to be sent to liam(at)thesixthaxis(dot)com.

Not bad at all, thirteen on each side and no bots are needed. This should make for a great match. Those who are not already on my friends list will receive a (temporary) friend request to help you locate and join the match tonight.
Can everyone please select the appropriate faction upon joining the match, and please refrain from hitting the “ready” button when in the pre-game lobby. The match will start at 8pm (British Summer Time) sharp, and I will be in the pre-game lobby from 7.50pm. Good luck and I will see you all on Helghan.

If for some bizarre reason 32 people didn’t wish to participate in such a fantastic competition, resulting in bots being implemented, what would happen if one of the bots got the highest points total? Just for clairifcation for anyone entering

Does KZ work across regions?
I havent picked this up since I bought it, but would love to get a chance to play with some members of clan TSA. Its almost like going one on one with Jordan or playing a few holes with Tiger…

Yes, I play in US, Europe and (Japan or Asia) quite often. Wnen you select “Join Game”, change “My Region Only” from “Yes” to “Worldwide”.

As djhsecondnature points out and for clarification purposes – the top two (highest scoring) members on the ISA will win the codes. Bots will only make up the numbers and will not steal the glory.
But we hope to see 32 names down

I can’t believe it. I was really up for this competition, and I thought I had a fair shout at it. I’m regularly getting top 2/3 on Killzone 2 servers (whether I would agianst TSA regulars is another matter…) but I’m going to be working during the battle.
