Ghostbusters LBP Pack Revealed

200 yen for the Ghostbuster costume, 200 for the ghost costume, 200 for the Stay Puft costume and another 200 for the absolutely awesome Slimer hat, or 600 yen for the lot. Presumably there’ll be official word from SCEE at some point, but until then enjoy this super cute promotional Japanese image. Pack is out next week, too.

Since the latest patch was 80 MB. you have to wonder what was in it, if it wasn’t ghostbusters levels

The patch contained all the DLC for the next few months. So potentially just lots of costumes.

*sigh* was hoping for a level pack like MGS and I got the feeling a lot of people were. It’s cool MM is adding a lot of great costumes, objects and so on for the level builders out there, but we are all not creative masterminds, who are able to create great levels

These do look pretty awesome. I can’t bring myself to pay for stupid DLC like this though as it adds almost nothing to the gaming experience. Also, this kind of stuff used to be free with games.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a second Ghostbusters pack as the big thing they’ve been working on – like the MGS one, it could easily use the photon packs instead of the paininator.

No levels, no deal.
I agree that costumes are great and all (In fact I’ve got every single free one theres been, the MGS set and the KZ2 set), and it does show that MM are still plugging away, but there’s a lot of the sticker packs and costume packs which should have had levels attached, even if it was just one or two.
ICO, SotC, Heavenly Sword, Ghostbusters, the up and coming R&C (which will hopefully have levels), KZ2 (could have just had the beach landing and Visari’s palace)
So, for me its no levels no deal, but I will buy any levels that they come out with, and consider the costume packs that go with them.

To be honest I’d rather loads of costumes than no DLC at all. At the end of the day if you don’t want them, don’t get them. In my opinion continued support of a game can only be a good thing, even if it is only a few costumes. Not that I’ll actually be getting them. lol

Agree, stefhutch! Stuff like the creator pack 1 (free!) or the online create beta show that Mm are not only producing costumes. There’s still full support for LBP.
Oh, and I will get the Ghostbusters costumes. They look awesome!

Indeed, same here.
The MGS pack was great, but now it’s just costumes and stickers.
The Ghostbusters stuff looks cool, but if it is literally just costumes I don’t think I will be buying them…it just seems a waste of money.
They need to stop relying on the users to create new level content for them and put a bit out themselves every now and then.

As much as I want the Slimer hat, I don’t think I’ll be buying it. I mean they look cool, but how often will I actually use them? I’ve used a home-made Dante costume now forever and don’t plan on changing any time soon. I’m certainly disappointed at the lack of level packs MM are making…

It’ll be a shame if it isn’t a level pack. I hoped the MGS pack was the beginning of more themed level packs rather than being a one-off. I suppose they’re busy making levels for LBP on the PSP and LBP2.

Yay…..woo…..*sigh*
While they look great and my inability to say no will probably make me buy them, I just wish it was a level pack. I don’t mind new costumes, and I know there’s loads of levels online I could, but I just wish Mm would release new levels with new gameplay elements; just to spice things up. I imagine we’ll get one later this year, but 1 a year is not enough in my opinion
