Exclusive: PS3 To Pick Up 360 Title

Whilst we can’t reveal any specifics right now, we can now reveal that the PlayStation 3 will play host to a popular 360 favourite. The title, which has to remain under wraps with us for the time being, will be released towards the end of the year. We’ve been promised more information in roughly a month’s time, at which point we’ll be able to share the specifics, first.
Our contact has also let us know that the studio will have other exciting news to share soon enough. Note that we can not talk about this further at this stage.

Update: I think people need to get a grip on the size of this site and get a little perspective, we’re just a little fansite with a nice jump here… We appreciate the guesses and speculation, but come on, people, be realistic – this isn’t some mad rumour or something from a ‘mole’, but the title in question is something we think you’ll be interested in.

It said Xbox favourite. Not exclusive. So it *could* be on the PC too, as many 360 games are on the PC too.

Personally I’d like to see Too Human, because I’m a bit of a sadist and have huge respect for the company that made it.
Really hope it isn’t Duke Nukem 3D.

I doubt it’s GOW, though it could be interesting to se what Epic could do with the graphics on a proper console.

It would be nice to see Mass Effect come to PS3, especially after all the changes implemented into the PC version which improved the game hugely. Plus it would mean that we would probably be getting Mass Effect 2 somewhere down the line as well!

Well, theres no way it’ll be Halo, and Ninja Gaiden II has already been announced.. So I guess that leaves Mass Effect, Gears of War or Left 4 Dead. Mass Effect is a bit old now, so I think the boat is missed there, and I dont really care about L4D, because I’ve got the PC version, so Im going to go for Gears of War..

Shit, i didn’t even think of that. I only ever played Pandora Tomorrow and double agent (on PS2) and didn’t enjoy them that much, but it would be a cool announcement

Im sort of shocked by the amount of people who think it will be Halo or Gears of War. It’s more likely to be titles that have remained loyal but now have sequels coming to the PS3 also. things like Dead Rising 1 and Mass Effect. it could also be companies who do have other titles which are multiplayer Koei/Tecmo have ninja gaiden on both systems so it wouldnt be a push to have Dead or Alive 5 on the PS3.

Mass Effect seems like the most obvious choice. Crackdown 2 is another possibility that hasn’t been mentioned yet. Wouldn’t mind seeing Geometry Wars for PSN myself.
