Now whether this is a mistake or not we don’t quite know yet, but if you head over to the UK PSN Store and search for the Mirror’s Edge DLC entitled Pure, you’ll notice that you can download this previously £7 pack for free. The beautiful time trial levels are a must have for any Mirror’s Edge owner. So what are you waiting for? Get downloading.

The DLC maps confuse me.
I got that exclusive free one before, and I couldn’t make sense of it.

They’re awesome. Much more fun than the story mode ones.
I much preferred attempting stars in the DLC maps.

I must say, I think I preferred the abstract Pure level they originally released for free more than the original ones. Looking forward to trying these other ones out, thanks for the heads up.
And all for my favourite price £0.00, hope other developers follow suit and make dlc free after 6 months…

This is awesome. ME was one of the first games i played on the PS3 and this (now free) DLC is definitely going to make me pick it up again.

Thanks for the tip! I’m downloading in the background. It’s also free in the German PSN store, so the give away could be on purpose.
On a related note: I’ve recently noticed that you get the Dead Space Obsidian Suit (£ 2.39) for free from the German store. If you’re playing Dead Space this could be a reason (actually the ONLY reason) to create a German account. The description says the suit brings added armor and extra inventory slots. I’ve downloaded but not tested it yet.

I got it free anyway, because I preordered the game, but it really does help with any tricky bits you get to in the game and makes you look ‘cool’ while your doing it.
