Back in mid June Activision’s Bobby Kotick threatened to withdraw his company’s support for the PS3 unless Sony cut the price of the console.  We will likely never know how the phone call from Sony to Activision that followed that must have gone but public statements have proven entertaining.

Last week we had Sony’s CEO Howard Stringer going on the record to say of Kotick that “He likes to make a lot of noise,” adding that the corporate tit-for-tat was just “the nature of business.”

Now the co-founder of BioWare, Greg Zeschuk, has added his two penny worth to the saga.  ”I don’t think it’s really fair to poke fun at Sony, [they are] probably not going as fast as they thought it would be but I think that they’re starting to make the right moves and the software’s coming along.”

Zeschuk did not stop there though, “I think it’s silly to be saying you’re not going to support Sony,” he added. “The brand itself is still huge and there are millions of [users] out there.”

Just a week ago BioWare were talking excitedly about developing for the PS3 as they work on Dragon Age: Origins and it is good to hear more positive talk from the developer of some potentially massive titles for the PS3.
