53We’ve had lots of people tipping us about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige edition pricing, but we’ve been holding off for UK details rather than wildly shoving dollars into Google’s translation service, which as we all know too well here in Europe, rarely works out. However, we can now confirm that the night-vision equipped version will set you back £119.99, and will be available exclusively from HMV on November 10th for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
The Prestige edition also includes a collector’s bust of Captain Soap MacTavish in a Steelbook case, an art book, a code for Call of Duty on PSN (or Live) and the aforementioned night-vision goggles. “This is a fantastic limited edition exclusive for hmv.com customers for what is, undoubtedly, the game of the year,” said HMV’s commercial manager Jonathan Hayes. Quite. Good luck with that in these cash-strapped times, Mr Hayes.
