Midnight Club: LA Competition Winner 11

This competition is for those of you that prefer to get creative rather than massacre your fellow TSA members on the battlefield or bury their faces in the mud whilst racing off road. Make sure you have a can of pepper spray and you have packed a body vest because we are off to Los Angeles. Midnight Club LA from Rockstar games is all about the style and respect. Sure it’s great to take a corner at 150mph with the back end swaying wide like J Lo after a booze up, but taking a corner isn’t taking a corner unless your honey wagon is pimped out with more bling than H. Samuel or packing more ice than your local Farmfoods. So grab a can of Red Bull, buy a mean machine and get to the South Central garage.

The rules are simple. You take any car and make it look good on the inside and out with bodywork, paint jobs and laying on the vinyl. It is entirely up to you how you go about pimping your ride and there are no set styles. You can go with the techno “bangin beats man…wicked” modern style to the gangster “nice ride homes” tricked out wheels complete with hydraulics and more bounce than an Olympic trampoline. You then take a picture from your TV screen or you can use the in-game camera to upload pictures to socialclub.rockstargames.com. I shall shortlist the best picks down to the best ten, where the rest of the TSA staff will get involved and vote on the best three. This is simple – pimp for points:

1st place gets 250 TSA points; 2nd grabs 200 TSA points; 3rd gets 150 TSA points. Runners up will get 30 TSA points for their efforts.

GTi TSA (Small)

This is open to all members and I am happy to announce that this includes Xbox 360 owners too. I used the 360 copy of the game to create the above picture but it really doesn’t matter which system is used. Once the top three are selected we would like to jump online with you to take a first hand look at your hard work and maybe grab a few extra pictures too. All entries are to be sent to liam(at)thesixthaxis(dot)com and the closing date is midnight (GMT + 1) on Friday the 24th July. Winners will be notified the following Monday. I want to stress that this is about style and creativity where any car and any style could be a potential winner. We shall be looking at colour co-ordination, attention to detail and any unique styling you may come up with.

Good luck and we look forward to your entries.
