  1. This game is taking me forever to download! I want to play it now!

  2. One of the secrets is for collecting 95% of the fragments from any wave, and it’s called ‘Schardenfreude’. It’s the 2nd of the 3 secret trophies in the list.

    • Lol – Just got this and I got the Schardenfreude trophy after two mins. Lucky me :D

      • Same here.

  3. ^^^ and another is called ‘Overkill’ Its Bronze and you get it for ‘Destroy the last brick with a fresh Shard Storm’ just got it :)

Do we get any TSA points for that?

Loving this game, the music, GFX, gameplay its all top notch!

  4. Someone who has played both;
    Which one is better?
    Shatter or Magic Ball?

    • They are quite different, magic ball is more “relaxing” and a slow gameplay, where in Shatter a lot is going on at the screen, all the time.

At this point, I like Shatter more, it’s also priced really fair.

    • I have both, and while they both are good, Magic Ball has an unreasonable price point. I feel as though Shatter is worth the price of Magic Ball and the other way around.

Where Shatter reminds me of Super Stardust as far as tempo, music, visual effects etc. go, Magic Ball reminds me of.. well, Super Rub’a'dub.

Although I liked both games, I finished Magic Ball (all trophies included) in less than 4 hours. Shatter looks to be about the same, maybe somewhat longer (some of those trophies seem tricky), but the production values are much higher and the price is lower.

Also, I regret buying Magic Ball because the publisher is so greedy. First they release a game that is overpriced, and then DLC that should’ve been in the original game to justify the price point.

  5. It looks pretty interesting. I can’t decide between it and Crystal Defenders. I’m also stuck between Wipeout Fury and the Killzone 2 triple map pack.

    Decisions decisions.

    • Fury is awesome. Seriously, it’s better than the original content.

      • I agree it’s awesome… pretty hard though.

  6. Looks like a decent spread, but the silvers are looking a wee bit tricky to me.

  7. Bought this game today. It has that Geometry Wars kind of “quality” going on for me. Totally love this game! Love the price too!

  8. Just finished it and have to say – it’s rather short & easy. Took me about 2 hours to finish Story Mode and once you’ve done that, well, that’s about it. You do unlock Boss Rush & Bonus Mode but those are actually picked out of the Story Mode and I don’t think anyone’s really gonna bother with those again unless he’s after the Silver Trophies.
I guess the price is about right and it looks pretty sweet (lost a ball multiple times because I was too busy staring at the fancy backgrounds), just a shame there’s a complete lack of both off & online multiplayer. 1on1 pongstyle would be pretty sweet I bet.

Anyway, I do hope they bring out more of these things, totally dig the visual style & soundtrack.

    • I totally agree with the idea of a pong style multiplayer and seems kind of obvious now. Would be a great addition and should have been added if they had thought about it. There’s always DLC *crosses fingers*
