I’ve been counting down the days until Trine is released ever since I first witnessed the gameplay vids. Right up until Fat Princess was confirmed for this weeks store update it was widely known that Trine was set for release this week. The bad news is that our old friend ‘delay’ is paying us a visit again.

FB_Lauri from Trine’s developer Frostbyte has said “Unfortunately, Trine isn’t coming to PSN this week, and this time it’s our fault as there was discovered yet another small bug which needed to be fixed. I can’t tell for sure when the release is coming, as no-one really seems to know. Also, I have no idea are EU and NA releases timed diffrently. For us, not knowing is also a bit tough, but I hope it’s eventually worth all the waiting.”

Hopefully once the bug is fixed specific Sony’s regions won’t face the all to frequent staggered releases and Sony can wrap this up with a simultaneous worldwide release. The game is also causing controversy over it’s pricing which is expected to be $19.99/€19.99/£16.99 and given that some people bizarrely think £11.99 is too much for Fat Princess will probably not go down too well.

We’ll update you on any firm news of release dates as soon as we find out ourselves, until then feast your eyes on the gorgeous looking puzzling action below.
