For those of you somewhat unfamiliar with Halo and dear old Master Chief fear not - as it does not matter. Halo: ODST is a far reach from the sheer power of super-solider Master Chief. You play the role of a stealthier Orbital Drop Shock Trooper who “are used to working in the dark”. During the video, Nathan Fillion’s character Buck, explains with remarkable efficiency all there is to know about the upcoming Halo release. You’re introduced to a variety of squad members, voiced by more well-known Sci-fi actors such as Adam Baldwin, Tricia Helfer and Alan Tudyk, as well as a lot of gameplay. Enjoy.

Erm in a recent interview a Bungie Head Honcho said you would be unable to use covenant equipment and weapons. I am pretty sure I saw a Banshee being piloted and the throwing of “Sticky ‘nades” or Covenant plasma grenades. Which is just sweet because the sticky ‘nades are my favorite weapon in any game ever!
Nice trailer and this cannot come soon enough. Need to assemble a four man team for the firefight mode in this too.

For further evidence see the made-for-tv movie Mammoth. She almost saved it, which is quite a statement when you see how terrible it is…

Exactly what I was thinking! Maybe they can find a way to crowbar Jewel Staite in there as the cute mechanic, and Morena Baccharin (sp?) as the sultry whore

looks pretty weak to me. the acting seems awful, like HAZE awful. but then i have never been a fan of sci-fi FPS.

Am I the only one that wasn’t particularly impressed by that?
Some of the character ‘acting’ was pretty good, but apart from that, it looks like a toned-down Halo 3. Which was a toned-down Halo 2…
