As I’m mid house-move and have spent the last two days cleaning I feel rather ill today, so this will be short and sweet. There were many fantastic entries for this week’s Challenge TSA, with some incredible times. The challenge was to beat TheSixthAxis’ best time for the Morocco race in the DiRT 2 Demo, with TSA Points on offer to the top 3 individuals who could beat our high score: 100 for 1st place, 75 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 10pts to everyone who sends in a valid entry.

The Results:

1st. Spooferbarnabas – 02:53:74
2nd. Liam  - 02.54.32
3rd. Manorhowze – 02:56:33

All I can say is wow. Alex will be distributing your points over the next 24 hours, well done to everyone that entered, but Spooferbarnabas deserves special mention for such an incredible time, which we’ll be passing on to Codemasters on Tuesday to let them know if they ever need a tester they know where to look.  Next week’s Challenge TSA is in the pipeline and we’ll be announcing that, along with at least one exciting new thing, over the coming days…

  1. Well done you three.
My time was bad, no where near that. On to the next chalenge.

  2. Top driving Spoofer, great time. I was also nowhere near this.

  3. I knew I didn’t have a perfect run, but almost 10 seconds faster than my best time o_O

  4. I never play simulation style games so I was quite happy with my time even though it was nowhere near : )

  5. At least they didn’t beat code masters own record time at 2:51:xx, but still crazy fast, impressive.
I didn’t really have time to practice, my best run was my third go and well in to to 3 minutes :>

  6. 2.53? WTF? thats crazy! i couldn’t get under 3 minutes. thats great driving

  7. Great job spOOfer. Like everybody else I wasn”t even close, and thats why I desided not to enter :)
    20 TSA points or not,I sucked…

  8. Jesus, thats some fast times, well done.. I didnt get anywhere near that, and I thought I did quite well.

  9. Damn it! Less than a second.

Spooferbarnabas – that is a great time. The difference in our times doesn’t seem much in writing but we both know just how much more skilled and determined you were to get such a great time – well done mate!

  10. That was a bit of suprise. Doubt my time was due to skill but probably down to the amount of practice i put in and also a bit of luck.
Hopefully i’ll see a few of you online when the full game comes out.

    • Well done mate. I was surprised to get third being 3 seconds behind you.
      Southend for 1st and 3rd.

      • Amazing I tried a few times and am ashamed to say 3:12 was my best !! Hats off mate , well done .

  11. cool. Well done to the winners. Shame i didn’t enter 2.58 was my quickest, i gave up after that

  12. My 3:02 looks crap in comparison to that!

Did you even get my entry? I know I sent two e-mails but they were exactly the same. Maybe I got the e-mail address wrong.

  13. Blimey. Didn’t expect times that fast. I’d only seen one person go below 3 mins when playing the demo online.

  14. Scary, scary times. I used to think I was ok at racing games until I entered the Motorstorm competition a while back. I didn’t even get to finish. :( But those times above embarass me. Well done to all who entered, especially those who won!

  15. well done, that fast
