If a week is a long time in politics it’s an absolute eon for TheSixthAxis, as roughly this time last week saw us launch ‘TSA Meets’ the community game scheduling tool and already it’s coming of age. Over the past week our community has arranged several gaming meet ups including a few Killzone 2 Boot Camps, a tournament night and the first of the regular Tuesday night Burnout meet ups.

The community action doesn’t stop there however as we’re launching a brand new regular feature which will involve utilising TSA Meets for launch weekend get togethers. Practically every week between now and Christmas will see a blockbuster title being released and what better way of getting to grips with your new purchase than getting together with a bunch of like minded folk, who don’t exploit, cheat or play purely for points, but instead want to learn, improve and of course have fun.

You might have noticed that a snapshot of the current days ‘TSA Meets’ activities now appear in the top right area of every page, for example today (Thursday) you’ll see the Killzone 2 ‘DLC Only’ boot camp (still some places left) and a hastily arranged DiRT2 meet-up for those that are lucky enough to get their orders shipped before tomorrow’s official release date, again if you’re quick in getting your name down you can get in on the action and even take nofi on.

One of the features I like best about TSA Meets is that if you realise you aren’t going to be able to make it you can withdraw your name opening up a space for someone else to get in on the action, as repeated non-attendence could lead to a spell on the naughty step. All that leaves me to say is, if the game’s scheduled appeal to you then get your name down, and if they don’t appeal then what are you waiting for – simply schedule your own.
