As the weekend fades to a distant memory it’s time to look to the week ahead to see what’s coming up on TSA Meets and launch a competition with  TSA Points up for grabs. First up though is tonight’s Killzone 2 ‘meet’. These Monday night Boot Camp sessions are completely open to everyone, there are no DLC requirements and you don’t even need a headset although as always online gaming is better with one. These open sessions are the ideal way for beginners to get to grips with the title in the online Warzone, as well as giving seasoned regulars a chance to fine tune their tactics. So if you’ve got a copy of Killzone 2 and want to get in on the action, then sign up for the Boot Camp in our TSA Meets community tool.

Burnout Paradise has proved to be a game which is almost impossible to play successfully online with seemingly the whole Internet just wanting to dick around, so if you want to have fun whilst getting some challenges done then TSA user BrendanCalls has arranged a Burnout Paradise ‘Meet’ on Tuesday. Similarly CollinBarr66 has arranged a DiRT 2 get together on Thursday, the title proved to be a great laugh in the ‘Meets’ which were held at the end of last week, so if you missed out then, make sure you get your name down for this one.

Next Saturday there is a Killzone 2 marathon taking place starting at midday and going on until the small hours of Sunday morning – it will feature a healthy bout of open sessions and TSA clan matches, just get your name down if you want to be involved, and don’t worry there will be breaks for pizza.

Last week we added a bucket-load of new titles to the Meets tool, like DiRT 2, Sacred 2 as well all the major multiplayer releases between now and Christmas including Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2 and GT5 (fingers crossed) so whatever your gaming tastes there is sure to be something you’d like to arrange so you can play like-minded individuals rather than Internet randoms who either look to exploit or just play lone-wolf.

One of my favourite features is the ability to withdraw from events you’ve put your name down for if you later find out you can’t make it, please use this as repeated no-shows may lead to a suspension from using the service.

Now, competition time – we have 225 TSA Points up for grabs to 3 lucky readers (100 for 1st, 75 for 2nd and 50 for 3rd) who can identify the games featured in the image on the homepage. You can also view the image here (tip: they all feature in the TSA Meets scheduling tool.) To enter all you have to do is email chris[at]thesixthaxis[dot]com with:

  • TSA Meets Competition‘ in the subject line
  • Your TSA ID
  • Starting top left to right and working your way down each row, number your list of guesses (1-24)
  • Closing date is midnight Thursday

The winners will be the valid entrants who correctly guess the highest number of games, and in the event of any ties for any of the top three positions good old random.org will decide. Good luck and all that leaves me to ask is, what are you going to schedule next?
