This Thursday’s PSN update will not just be about loads of digital content for the PSPgo’s launch, as the folks over at MediaMolecule have been working on getting even more content out there. This week, comic book series The Watchmen comes to LittleBigPlanet in the form of four character costumes (Rorschach, Silk Spectre II,Ozymandias and The Nite Owl II) and sticker packs inspired by the recent movie adaptation, as usual these will be available individually or in a discounted bundle. For a taster you can watch The Watchmen in LittleBigPlanet in the vid below:

I never really cared for the costume packs on LBP, but I have to admit, that Roschach(RorSack?) one really looks quite funny. Hard to tell if the ink blots on the mask are dynamic like in the movie or not though.

If they were dynamic that would be amazing.
Though I doubt it

I’ve still not got around to playing LBP yet. I picked it up a couple of months ago for under a tenner, but ever since it’s been stuck on my shelf gathering dust!! If that Roschach mask is dynamic, then that dust is going to get blown away!!

BadBoyBoogie youu’re mad. LBP is a masterpiece that is probably the best possible way to spend a tenner.
Costumes are a waste of money as far as I’m concerned. They do not make any difference to gameplay plus I get bored of each costume I create after around 15 minutes anyway.

Dynamic ink blots would be perfection and a nice little touch, but I doubt it.

Top stuff… although not that authentic. They’ve left out the blue penis dangling around for half of the video.

Meh… short trailer and another pack most people doesn’t care about. You have to wonder if the MGS pack sold poorly, since we haven’t seen any level packs since.

never cared about that costumes… you pay for it and you only look a bit different…. it doesn’t add something to the game….

finally, a silk spectre costume, they didn’t bother making one for home, probably because they took the costumes from the watchmen game and i don’t think that featured silk spectre, and also explained why they didn’t fit that well.
but then home has never really catered to women all that well, far too many male only promotions going on there.

So unneeded, LBP needs to focus on more levels with objects and new gadgets not costume/sticker

Agreed. The only premium LBP content I ever purchased was the MGS level pack, not the costumes, just the levels.
Maybe with water MM will bring us more levels.
