Amongst the usual barrage of flack poor Mike Kebby gets every week on the blog is one nice snippet of information: “Okay I’ve just checked I could give the date,” he says, “detuned will be with you next week.” Fantastic, from its initial announcement in May to the middle of October – that’s a pretty nifty turnaround. In other news, and clearly of some annoyance to the baying hordes on the Blog, is that the Store Update won’t be until 8pm tonight. I know, how will we cope?

.deTuned isn’t free. It’s 300 Yen in the Japanese store (available now), if the memory serves me right.

Correct me if im wrong but hasnt the updates been around 7-8pm for 3 weeks in a row now?
They get later and later as the months go by and now update Thursday is basically useless until Friday by the time you have downloaded what you want.
Crazy times.

I didn’t see updates until 11pm or so last night (appreciate that might’ve been only on the front page). Then again, between taking shoddy updates earlier in the evening and really-quite-decent updates like this, later in the night, I’ll go for the latter. Assuming the reason for tardiness is simply how much is going live.

Glad to hear it’s coming, will most definetly buy this as long as it’s under £4. I’m on a tight budget in terms of gaming at them moment if I want to have a life at the same time.
