Obviously Monday is the day we normally take a look at what TSA Meets has in store for the week ahead, but you’ll be pleased to know I was sunning myself halfway around the world in the Turks & Caicos islands, but as the memory fades its back to the grindstone and a belated look at what’s coming up in the remainder of the week.
First up is Battlefield 1943, whether you want to be a rifleman, tank commander or fighter pilot is up to you but TSA Meets is the perfect opportunity to revisit DICE’s online shooter. At the moment we only have a host capable of 4 players so if you can host more and you can commit to 19:00 tonight then sign up here, and share your details in the BF1943 forum.
Later in the week we have some launch night wrestling action with WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 making its TSA Meets debut at 19:00 on Friday, the early reviews are that it is the most impressive in the series to date so if you’re a fan of large men in tight trunks grappling with each other there can be no better way of getting to ‘grips’ with the online side of things than with some friendly TSAers through TSA Meets.
Next up at 20:00 Friday is launch night apocalyptic action with Borderlands, the gorgeous looking FPS/RPG crossover. The title features four player drop-in/drop-out co-op and is built from the ground up to be played this way, so what better way to take your first steps in the new world than with some friendly TSA folk, you can sign up here.
Rounding up the week is our regular DiRT 2 meet-up on Saturday at 20:00, if you like your racing action to be a bit on the muddy side then this is the place for you, there are still a few places left so if you want in… you know what to do.
A couple of final things; if you put your name down for an event, please make sure you either make it or withdraw your name from the list, it’s nothing short of inconsiderate to leave other TSAers wasting their gaming time stuck in a lobby waiting for you to turn up. This is a final warning, as moving forward I will be deducting TSA Points for non-attendees, and now that TSA Points have a real world value in the form of Games Basement discount as well as giving you the ability to use various TSA features like TSA Meets and make you eligible for TSA competitions, you really don’t want to be losing those points.
As always its down to you, the community, to arrange whatever online action you want from Army Of Two to WWE Smackdown, and loads more in between, what are you going to arrange next? Perhaps some MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Left4Dead or even some PSP action – the choice as always is yours.

Saturday night at 8:45pm the KZ clan requires 4 good men to accept a challenge and do us proud.
Hopefully an officer can take charge of this one. Please state your interest in the Killzone Clan forums.
Thanks.

Glad MS:PR has been added but I suck at organizing anything so I hope that someone else can do it. If not I will give it a go.

I thought that point of meets was to take the hassle out of organising things? Just stick it up there and see if other people want to do it! Take the plunge! I would organise my own online games of things, except I seem to only own games which a) don’t have online or b) noone plays! Mainly the former.

Oh wow… you do love me.
“Perhaps some MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Left4Dead…”
I’ve been asking for these, very happy to see them added.
Will be making some meets ASAP

Did anyone actually get Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, other than me? If so, I’d be up for giving the online side of things a try!

I’m still waiting to receive DiRT 2 so I can take part in some of those meets, so in the mean time, I might organise an Uncharted 2 meet, perhaps for the co-op objectives.

Hope to see you in a DiRT meet in the near future then. They are a lot of fun. We stick to similar rules to Burnout in that there are no deliberate crashes but lots of unintentional ones.
