Despite not being a major fan of WWE I love the games and this one seems brilliant. It’s only £24.99 on amazon too! Nice review.

Good review, picked this up today, looking forward to playing it. WWE is now TV-PG which means the product is aimed at children now so you hardly see an ECW like match.

Not interested in wrestling games but I think I might “rent” a couple of “special ladies” to re-enact the scene from the fourth photo above. YouTube link to follow. Ha!

Actually, just read the full review and noticed “The point is to win the match in the most entertaining way.” which is something many, many developers could do well to heed. Gaming is about fun (mostly). My mates and I have always enjoyed tooling around in the many games we play and are rarely interested in winning the anally-retentive trophy of the night award. Sod shaving off seconds in a racing game. I want to crash so hard my TV falls over.

Great, great review. I’d like to say I’m going to get this, but there are so many things I think “I’m going to get this”, so I’ll settle with:
I’d like to get this.
Trying to work out if this is the wrestling game I played on my bro’s PS3.
Wait.. is it on the PS3 too?

Just afew things that I have noticed that are new to the game. Matches now have a highlight modde at the end which allows you to pick and choose what highlights to watch. They have completly redesign the pinfall system for escaping, you now have two option you can either mash all the buttons or press and hold aa single buton and try to release it at the correct time. Royal rumble matches have also been greatly improved with the game having mini QTEs instead of bar for eliminating your opponent. The royal rumble matches also included entrences whilst the fight is still going on. The finisher sysem has been redone as you unlock a signature move before you unlock your finisher. If the signature move is pulled off you will unlock a finisher. However, you do not have to do a signature move to unlock a finisher.

Well written review. just the kind of thing ive come to expect from TSA on a regular basis.

Seems like a lot of outlets are giving this the thumbs up and i’ve really enjoyed the games in the past so i may grab this one!

Nice review. I haven’t played a SvR game for a couple of years but I’m actually looking forward to this one. Loved the video you did too which has upped my interest in spending time creating stuff. I hate the refs in these games too. They are far too obvious and more of a hinderence so I’m not looking forward to that.
