Staff Update

We like to keep you all informed of the staffing situation here at TheSixthAxis so here we go with another little update. Firstly, and most regrettably, Nick (Pixl1983) has asked to stand down so that he can put more energy into pursuing his music career. We’re hoping he finds time to come back one day and the door has been left well-and-truly open to him should he change his mind. I personally thought Nick was one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet and he was always a pleasure to work with/talk to/be constantly mocked by so I’m sad to see him go. I’m sure that sentiment is echoed by everyone here too.
Now, to happier news. Zuler has been doing sterling work with his Trophy World features so from today he will have a bit more access to the back-end of the site and will be able to post the odd bit of news if he finds anything interesting. He has promised to try and keep his exuberant enthusiasm in check but I have no doubt that I’ll be sifting through his news posts editing out “OMG” and deleting multiple exclamation marks.
Next up, we have Gamoc joining staff with our news writing team. Gamoc previously worked as the editor of PS3Vault and has written for TheSixthAxis in the past so he has a fair bit of experience and ability in this field. I’m sure you’ve all seen him knocking about the comments section of various posts, foisting his opinion on us all. Finally FRUITofDOOM is rejoining staff as a Live Events Co-Ordinator. Working for Chris, our Community Manager, he will be tasked with engaging the community in a number of live events and looking after the various clans we set up and Meets we endorse.
Hopefully this is another step in the growth and evolution of TheSixthAxis, we’re certainly excited about where we are heading and we hope you are too.

Well, change MUST happen, so it’s good to see some going on.
Sorry to see you go, Pixl, hope the music turns out well for you, and hope to see you around again.
Congrats to Zuler, though I can;t see him doingh much news if he’s glued to Borderlands and R&C ACIT.
And welcome back Gamoc and FRUITofDOOM. I wasn’t here when Gamoc was, so it’ll be interesting to hear what he has to say, and FRUIT, it’s just not been the same without you.

Nice to see Zuler getting a promotion as well, you have no idea how jealous I am that I’ve had to see the words “Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time” in his grey PSN box!

FRUITofDOOM left not long after i joined and its nice to see him back.
Im very much enjoying Zuler’s trophy lists and his boundless enthusiasm is a breath of fresh air in the current climate.
Gamoc often has interesting points on regular news pieces so i look forward to seeing what he can come up with.
And to Pixl1983, Obviously a big farewell and the very best of luck!
