A press release just coming through the email has alerted us to the fact that Braid, the much-loved time-meddling platformer, is coming to the PSN. I know, we told you that before. Well, the extra news is that it has been dated for November 12th. That’s really quite soon.
In order to maintain tradition HotHead Games have only confirmed the date for North America, stating “European version to be announced shortly thereafter” so who knows exactly when European PS3 owners will get to enjoy the sublime stylings and fantastic storyline in Braid? We only hope that it’s sooner rather than later.
I’m currently downloading the assets pack so I’ll update this post with images as and when I have them.
Take a look at the images below and bear in mind that still images don’t do this game’s atmosphere any justice at all. It’s beautiful.

Cool. Not heard anything about Braid but I guess it’s still another PSN title. Hopefully it wont be too much money either.

Great news! Glad I can buy it from the US store, who knows when they’ll release it in Europe.

Braid is one of the best games ever released – regardless of platform. It’s not a platformer, it’s a time-based puzzler and each section of the game has different types of time-based controls. Eg, on one level you have a doppelganger that follows your last try’s movements.
It’s hard to explain, but utterly breathtaking when something just ‘clicks’, and the overarching story (which I won’t spoil) is mindblowing if you get all the puzzle pieces.
Utterly fantastic game.

Excellent! A puzzle/platformer can’t wait! Some of my fave games are side scrolling platform types. Does anyone know the trophy set up for this game? I don’t know how epic the game is, will it be the usual 10 brz and a few silver, or will a platinum be in the offing?
