TheSixthAxis not only brings you all news, rumours and everything else from the gaming world, but we also have a wealth of regular features for our community to enjoy or take part in. In the coming week community activity will continue to increase, there will be more info on this posted on Monday.

Challenge TSA is, as always where the team here at TSA Towers want to take you on and challenge you to beat us at a game, there are TSA points (which can now be exchanged for real cash discount at Games Basement) up for grabs just for entering and even more points if you manage to beat our high score, be warned though FRUITofDOOM is back and he’s fully stocked up on coffee, he’s chomping at the bit and raring to go, so no doubt his score will be pretty impressive! This week it’s the turn of Zombie Apocalypse Demo on either PS3 or Xbox 360.

The Challenge.

This week the challenge is to beat TheSixthAxis’s Zombie Apocalypse high score.

The Rules.

The only thing which matters is the score at the end, no continues are allowed and as these void your score inclusion on the in-game leaderboards anyway, it’s very easy to cross-check. The whole team at TSA Towers will be taking part, and we’ll endeavour to update you on our high scores on Wednesday, but we’ll be hiding our top score from you until the results are fully announced though.

You need to email a photo to me (chris[at]thesixthaxis[dot]com) of the ‘Game Over Screen’ your entry must include the following:

+ Only one entry will be counted per person.
+ Email must have Challenge TSA in the subject line.
+ Includes photo (like the one shown) clearly showing your high score.
+ Email must include your TSA username.
+ Deadline for entries is midnight Thursday 12th November, results will be live on the Friday.
+ It would help if your email included your high score as well as attaching the photo.

The Rewards.

As usual TSA points will be awarded to the top 3 individuals who can beat the score of the top TSA team member. These are the points which are up for grabs, for 1st place 100pts, 75pts for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 10pts to everyone who sends me a valid entry. Remember every single valid entry wins TSA points, and TSA Points can now be cashed in for Games Basement credit.

Below is an example of the evidence we’re looking for, it is not our high score, or at least we hope it isn’t, as the whole team here will be competing to get top slot throughout the week as well, are you up for the challenge of beating us?

Comments

Please note that all comments are the opinion of the individual author and not TheSixthAxis.

  1. Sounds good, I’ll give this a go later on next week :D

Don’t know if I’ll be any good, though.

  2. I was wondering when Challenge TSA would return. Gonna download this later and give it a go.

    • It’s really difficult to find games (especially demos) which have a high score screen at the end (and can’t be fixed liked 2 player sports games)

      • I know what you mean as I cant think of any either.

On another note, now Liam is back as staff does that mean he is back in Challenge TSA as staff, as he was always a sod to beat in these challenges. Especially if it involved jumping over ties. ;)

      • Well, maybe if you can’t find a demo, you could always use a paid-for PSN or blu-ray game. A TSA Challenge for some is better than a TSA Challenge for none, right?
You could even repeat a game, but look for a different mode, etc.

      • @mh

Yes, this was the real reason for inviting him back as staff

        @1990
You’re right… I’ll have to think of another excuse

  3. Think I’ll be downloading and entering this. :D

  4. Question: I have the full game, can I just play to the end of day 3 then take a photo?

    • Yes, sorry I’ll edit the post – once I’ve done some family stuff

Although it took me ages to beat Day 1, so gawd knows what day 3 is like.

      • Actually, I’ve just remembered that day 1-3 on the full game is different to the demo. (Different stages) So you better keep it just the demo.

      • So just to confirm, Demo players get one day, owners get 3?

      • @Jas-n
The demo is 3 stages, so I assume demo players are allowed to play till the end, or death.

      • @hodgi92
so we (as full game owners) get 3 days as the demo is 3 days. thats what i was asking, but you answered my question so thanks

  5. nice tv! as its a demo, i’ll give this a go sometime in the week

  6. Oh yes it’s back. Better get going on this one. I am always rubbish but what the hell.

    • it’s only for fun isn’t it.
oh & the TSA points !

      • Fun?

Thats what all the losers say.

yes it’s only for fun, no…wait

  7. “and TSA Points can now be cashed in for Games Basement credit.”- Who do I need to contact to sort this out, is it you or is it them? Can you explain please.

Oh and good comp, think il enter this one.

    • There’s some automatic coding coming before too much longer, but until then it’s the old manual route, as for who to contact…

    • i’d like to know that too please. does 1000 TSA points = 1000 points on GB? or do 1000 TSA points = £2.50 etc?

      • i think 1000 points on GB is worth £2.50 isn’t it?

  8. Who do I enter as: Member or Staff? ;)

    • VIP silly ; )

  9. a real cash discount?! so its not actual real cash is it then? it’s online store credit is it not? ;)

    • You are getting points and have the option to use them as store credit, getting a discount so saving cash.

Anyway good this has returned, nice one cc.

    • Just checking my pedant-meter ;)

It turns out you’re probably right but its Saturday and that means large amounts of footie followed by even larger amounts of Stella

      1000 TSA Points = £2.50 credit = £2.50 discount = £2.50 extra cash in your pocket

  10. Damn that bloody LBP Tie skipping score and the reputation I now have to live up to. These TSA challenges are responsible for getting me into trouble at home ya know. Let it be known you are ALL responsible for Mrs Fruit’s ramblings about time spent together! (Keep it hush that I am praising you all for this excuse to avoid Strictly come dancing and True Blood – thank you, thank you so much) *Ahem….yes love, just telling them all I have a life outside video games and how important it is to me that we watch these programs together*

  11. I was planning to skip this game completely, but maybe I’ll have just a few tries ;)

    • its a good little game

  12. Is it the score for just the first level or score for the whole demo?

  13. Great to see Challenge TSA back. I’ll download the demo later!!

  14. Awesome, I played this demo on Thursday and had a good laugh particularly on Day 3, could be worth purchasing the full game particularly for the local multiplayer.
I will enter this during the werk

  15. whats wrong with Burn Zombie Burn?! :)
