Special Ops is amazing, fantastic idea for the game, I am enjoying that more than the MP so far. Wicked game.

Trophies failed too work for me. I guess I’ll have to start the campaign again when the patch is released?

Also the multiplayer invite a friend kept failing however I found a quick fix:- Shutdown\restart the PS3 and then get your friend to invite you again. I also read that logging out and in of PSN does the same thing. I wish these problems did not exist with multiplayer its getting really annoying. That said once connected the SPEC OPS mode was pretty good.

I got my Trophies working.
After not receiving any after the first couple of levels I decided to re-start the campaign, then i instantly started unlocking Trophies as normal.

If I remember rightly, I read somewhere that by using a long cable, it loses its effectiveness over a certain length. I’d say a decent wired solution are those Network adapters. As for wireless, maybe a ‘N’ router would be better. Problem is that I think they’re a bit pricey.

Are you using wireless? They’re always a little unreliable.
It might be much better with a wired connection and really long Cat5 cables are quite cheap and very effective so long as you don’t mind one running through the house! You could always lay it under the carpet?

I agree with people saying it’s a bad thing, but if the bug was ‘late breaking’ so was only revealed in the day or two before release then they obviously had to fix it immediately – otherwise the game could have been fatally broken, unfortunately the fix caused a problem with another part of the game, but at least its fully playable.

During the first day on sale they made a patch and its presumably going through whatever process is in place to get it out there – now thats quick (are you listening DICE and many other developers with still unpatched issues)
