After counting the votes on their online survey Capcom have decided that the ‘Alternative Edition’ of Resident Evil 5 will be heading to PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace as DLC. 1500 people voted for DLC against 900 or so who voted for the boxed product. The DLC will feature a brand new playable ‘flashback’ section set in the original Resident Evil mansion as well as support for the PS3 Motion Controller. Capcom have also hinted that additional content will be included but have given no further details.

I don’t think so. I think that as the vote was on the game’s site, only those who were big fans of RE5 voted, meaning that most of those already had the game, and don’t want to pay extra for the packaging.

I might be way off the mark, but I imagined it would be about the same cost as a DS3. The only thing is that you would need to add the cost of a PSEye too.

Resident Evil 4 HD, and trophies as well?
It’s my favourite game of all time, only Bioshock and Uncharted 2 can rival it in my opinion.
Not going to happen though, as they already remade it for the Wii.
