I dont see what all the hype is about really. Its a combination of the Playstation Eye and a wii remote. Nothing very orginal since Sony was the first to actually use it on the eye toy back in the day. If you want to kick at your TV go ahead, but if it breaks you cant blame Microsoft

Seriously, I have a hate on bias againts Microsoft lately but I will be the first to say, Windows 7 is awesome;

I built a new machine lately:
i5 Quadcore Processor at 4×2.76ghz
ATI Radeon Saphire 4890 1 GB video
8 GB DDR3 Corsair RAm
1 TB HDD
Coolermaster HAF Case (http://www.inserzionavy.com/images/HAF.932.jpg)
600 WT PWSPLY

AND… Its running Windows 7, I am in IT and I have done every single thing I could to try and make it crash, I cant, Windows 7 is what Windows Vista was going to be but Vista was rushed out early like the 360. Long story short, buy Windows 7, for petes sakes all my parts were custom even my wireless N card and during the Windows setup it asked me “Which wireless network do you want to connect to?”.

All of my drivers were installed first boot. Amazing.

Can’t understand criticism of any MS OS, other than ME obviously. Seems a snobbish attitude to me, and an incorrect one at that.

XP the best OS ever? Arguably, yes.
Vista – people really jump on the bandwagon with this, there’s nothing wrong with it, however if you have XP then Vista really is non-essential.
Win 7 is fantastic and a true replacement for people who own XP.

I’d never trust Apple with a whole OS, clucking iTunes & Quicktime being the system hogs they are, is bad enough, they can’t even make them patchable and release new version practically every week. Apple are a design and UI company, nothing more.

I’ve had my PS3 Eye since it came out – very disappointing support by Sony

It’s a real missed opportunity by Sony, because they could already have had 2 or 3 packs of games like the PS2 EyeToy games, and that would have led to the public perception that all MS are doing with Natal is that they are copying Sony several years late (Obviously they’re not because the tech is many times more advanced, but that wouldn’t really affect the public perception)

Sony should hang their heads in shame about the PSEye

I still think Natal will be anything but cheap and as the comment below says, I cant see anything with Natal that Eyepet doesnt do already.

Microsoft haven’t said anything about Platinum, that’s Pachter and he’s frequently wrong.
