i have one negative for this game.
it’s impossible to get the platinum without buying the dlc.
at least it seems that way to me.
there are trophies that you can only get from the dlc so therefore you can’t get a platinum unless you buy it.

I’ve been playing this this last couple of days… Damn, this game is big… But it is a great game, totally agree with the review. Be prepared for hours and hours of play-time…

also they said the ps3 version might get mods, do you think that because the console versions come without a tactical birds-eye view that someone will mod it into the ps3 version?

Great review, I’ve already played through the PC version but I picked up the Collectors Edition for the PS3 on friday. Just after my replacement PS3 arrived from Continuous Play – got to give them a shoutout, next day refurbed console can’t be too bad
Mind we’ll see how long it survives – which brings me to my point…the games saves are locked to the console, how lame is that?
Maybe it’s because of the recent failure of my PS3, but I’d hate to put a hundred hours into this and have a console failure with no backups

i have a probably unjustified anger at this game.

i hear all this talk of it being “the spiritual successor to baldurs gate” and the like. then i find out that it doesnt have co-op.

i may be in the minority but for me BG *was* co-op. without it i cant be interested in this.
