Well, that was a fun half hour. The upshot of all the updates below is that Gravity Crash, the much anticipated retro-themed shooter from Just Add Water, is now available to download and purchase from the European Store, with the US launch a little later today. If you use the A-Z function in the Store, Gravity Crash is, as you’d expect, under ‘G’, so head on over there and grab the demo, download it, enjoy it and then hopefully splash the miniscule £6.29 on the full unlock key. There’s also a day one patch, which wasn’t quite ready for launch but is now, which opens up a few features that the game required at the last minute. Remember to let us know how you’re getting on with the game in the comments below…
Original Story follows:
Unconfirmed at this precise moment, but we’ve had word from TSA member Haz360 that Gravity Crash is out now on the EU Store – it’s not under ‘Latest’ yet but if you search via the A-Z option, it’s under ‘G’.
Update: Yep, it’s there. Go now, and tell us what you think of the game we’ve been talking about for months!
Update 2: It appears the day one patch isn’t live yet, so you’ll be missing some levels, Trophy saving and some key game saving options. We’ll try and find out when the all-important patch will be going live.
Update 3: Stewart from Just Add Water has told us that the 8MB Patch will be live within 30 minutes and suggests you all please wait to play the game, so that you get the patch.
Update 4: Patch is live.

You [nofi] are great! Allthough I did not really care about this game until last week, you hyped the game so much here at TSA, that I had no other chance as to try to learn more about the game and search for news bits on the past that I had overread, to find out what was so fascinating on this game that you are so avid about it.
And now you hyped me so much that I’m eagerly awaiting to get home and try out that game from what I thought only some days ago that it would not be worth to buy…
Unfortunatly I have two appointments in the evening, so I wont have a chance to get my hands on it before 10 pm.

That’s what I’m hoping for, really good that you can just get the demo and buy a download key if you like it, such a good price too!

I love my Fat Princess – and that’s NOT a reference to my wife. (Just in case she reads this.)

Right now I wish I bought that Aino phone I’ve been looking at for a couple of weeks – just to set the PS3 to download this for when I get of work!

Hmmm most odd… This “reset” is a known issue with the patching system on the PS3, not just Gravity Crash.

I’m at work atm, so is anyone able to confirm the file size of the demo/game? Thanks

Demo/Game is 278MB or so.
I’ve tried the demo, instantly relaxed with some classic gaming and it just so easy on the noggin’. Blew it up a few times but what the hell, this is sofa-gaming at its best. Purchased the game before I’d finished the demo.
Stewart – could you tell us about the Gravity Crash (in-game) Store?
The Campaign mode is chucklesome with the style and wording. Love it.
Minor bug/amendment. When you’re in Dual Controls the thrust noise stops before you stop thrusting. Guess the same only lasted so long. Be nice to have it continuous even though actually playing like that would be close to suicide. Other than that… seriously, great game.
Alex – noticed you did their website.
I think that’s your name listed in the credits.

Only had a few games on it but loving it so far. Had a little dabble with the creator and it has potential. Probably gonna concentrate on the campaign then dive into the editor. Liking the TSA level as well.

Thoroughly enjoying the game, guys. Finding Dual Controls very inaccurate to fly (in comparison) but great for shooting. Might revert and stick with old-skool controls. Also, have you left the game alone in the main menu to see the replay of an absolutely insane gem pick-up. The slamming into the water had me laughing. You guys have practiced this WAY too much.

Original vs Dual Control – that IS the question!
I’m guessing it probably depends on the level type.
For just piloting around, Original is by far the most accurate,
however for Geometry Wars stylee blasting I reckon the Dual Control will rock.
