The title is called “Call of Duty” Modern Warfare 2 and TheSixthAxis are now calling for members to join the official TSA MW2 clan. This game bleeds community gaming opportunities and we intend to milk it!

What is expected of any members wanting to join? Well soon there will be a dedicated forum to the official clan where only clan members will have access. In here will be a list of the current members and their ranks; a code of conduct; upcoming events; squad organisation and a place to discuss tactics. You will be expected to keep all information within this forum for clan member “eyes only” and to maintain a good level of activity to ensure the clan is pretty damn sharp. Members will be expected to adhere to the code of conduct which will govern such things as fair treatment; a positive attitude; respect for all other members and superiors and an understanding that “fun” will be our main objective.

What can you expect from us? A scheduled and regular event much like our famous Killzone 2 boot camps; a well maintained and moderated forum for discussions and updates; internal and external competitive events that may involve site vs site action where available; Recognition and promotion for those whom display skill and natural leadership; TSA points based rewards where applicable.

This is an exciting time and for those whom wish to take part in events where teamwork and fun is the recipe for success. Those wishing to apply can do so after reading the following guidelines:

• You should have a stable connection and preferably an “open” NAT type. Please refer to you Internet Provider and router instructions for information on obtaining an open NAT. Though this is not enforced – those whom may consistently get disconnected or suffer severe lag may not be granted a place in any high profile events.
• You should have a headset for communication with team mates. Again, this is not enforced but may determine your eligibility for high profile events
• You will be expected to put in a good amount of time. Though there is no specific amount required, those whom rarely turn up or fail to show to events may be dismissed from the clan.
• Internal events will have more emphasis on fun and a small amount of “horse play” may be overlooked. However, when in high profile events you will be expected to maintain a professional attitude as you will be representing thesixthaxis.com out on the field.

Think you can live with all that? Think you have what it takes? Drop an email to liam[at]thesixthaxis[dot]com stating you TSA ID and PSN ID. Successful applicants will be notified very soon and as always the usual terms and conditions apply. You must be a TSA member to participate. Now, polish those boots, clean your weapons and prepare for action!

Comments

Please note that all comments are the opinion of the individual author and not TheSixthAxis.

  1. Can I take part in the more casual ‘internal’ matches without being a clan member? I don’t have the time or lack of life to be in a clan :p

    • I should point I do have the time and lack of life to comment on TSA during work though :D

      • +1 to that! lol

  2. How often would events be?

    Once a week?
    Twice a week?
    More?

    • TSA MEETS says once a week :P

    • Boots are weekly and clan games will probably be when members want them

  3. Just fore PS3?, Sweet

    • Just for PS3

  4. Fine…

    I’m in :D

    • My NAT is always open and when I host no-one seems to lag.
      So I should be fine.

  5. My NAT, from what Ive played always switches from moderate open all the time, ive never had any problems with the competitive lag, only spec ops, apart from once.

Im not levelled up that much either but my last run out I had more kills thandeaths and got a 7 streak. Does any of this count me out? I would like to play more and this clan givesme the perfect reason to do so.

    • Moderate should be fine and as with our Killzone clan (as you know) you’ll get to higher levels through clan activity anyway.

  6. Dibs on the bloke who always gets killed. :)

    • You’re kidding, right?
I’ve seen you in a couple of matches… you are a fucking beast.

      • Not at normal I’m not. I play hardcore and seem to forget how many bullets it takes to kill people on normal. My favourite game I had was a hardcore free for all on Rust with TSAers. I won by one kill. It was a brilliant game. Used my riot shield for the beginning to.

      • wick15 was so annoyed cause you JUST beat him, was epic. I think I was host there.

      • Yeah I think so. It was the Chopper Gunner that did it for me.

  7. Sent my email. TC – get your guns out coz I’m a gonna kick ass (if accepted of course!)

  8. email sent, also remembered to send the king of killzone email off too

  9. done, nice one. Hopefully you guys will be on later in the evening as I don’t get on till about 10pm

  10. For the record I have Nat Type 2, and I NEVER experience any connection issues.

    • Really? When i used to have it, online SUCKED.

  11. Email sent. If I get picked, hopefully will be able to put in a decent amount of time.

  12. I’d say count me in, but I won’t have Modern Warfare 2 again until next weekend, so I’ll wait.

  13. Sending my email now. I am a TSA regular and not too bad at Modern Warfare…

  14. Sent my email, cant wait if i get accepted.

    • Correction; “can’t wait until WHEN i get accepted” :P

  15. Count Me In!

    • Count me in too! I have sent you an email Liam.
