17Afterburner Climax, the rather bonkers arcade rehash of the classic not-very-sim aircraft blaster, looks like it’s coming to consoles, presumably the PS3 and Xbox 360 if ratings from the Australian Classification Database and the Korean equivalent, which specifically lists Sony as being behind the project.
As with previous arcade port Outrun Arcade, chances are Sony will be behind this more than Microsoft, but whoever gets the game I personally don’t care – the joys of multiformat console ownership mean that hopefully, in the not too distant future, I’ll be behind an F18 with a moment’s notice. And save myself lots of pounds in the process.
SEGA are yet to comment.
