I will buy one anyway. I want the motion-control for the Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition (or whatever it’s being called now). Apparently, the motion control worked really well in Resident Evil 4 on the Wii, and I want to try it out for myself, without buying a whole new console. (Even if it is only for a small bit of the game).

Will the “playstation motion” actually do well? I couldn’t see myself buying one. If I wanted controller motion I would purchase a wii! I think it’s a mistake for Sony to produce this, consider too that they already got enough crap from Nintendo for “stealing” controller ideas from them.
Many new games are being released now for a decent price if you shop about, I picked up modern warfair 2 for £26 and Uncharted 2 for £32.99!
I can remember back to my teenage years when a snes game used to cost me £49.99!!!

A price cut for games that no gamer wants isn’t too useful.I doubt cheap prices for motion controlled games will have any impact on the cost of decent games.Rising unemployment is more likely to push prices down.Even that…nice man from activision said job losses will impact the market.

To be fair the premiuim game of the year could have been had for £26, along with quite a lot of other top titles through last year with the supermarket wars and anything sub £30 is a reasonable price to pay for a newly released game?

I think you’re all missing the point – the lower price point of “Sackboy at The London Olymics” should drag down the price of Need For Speed 2010 or whatever.
