Fittingly for TSA’s Zombie Thursday, Borderland’s first DLC will be beating down the doors of the PSN mall today. Less fittingly it was witnessed shambling onto the Xbox LIVE Marketplace yesterday, but I like to put TSA and PS3 ahead of 360 so you get to read about it today.
Already on the US PSN Store thanks to this week’s Tuesday update, which was due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the DLC will set you back 800 Microsoft Points or £6.29 off the PSN. Here is how the publisher describes the DLC:
Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned does his job a little too well, creating flesh eating zombies and other ghastly abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work alongside Dr. Ned as they embark on an explosive journey to cure the decaying inhabitants of Jakobs Cove in this expansion filled with new formidable enemies, new grueling quests and rare loot drops.
Borderlands (see our review) took many, especially and most pleasingly many analysts, by surprise with its sales success and critical reception leading to reports that stock was running low in some areas. Keeping to the zombie theme, no matter how tenuously, Borderlands’ success so far has already led to Gearbox’s Creative Director, Mike Neumann, saying “Borderlands 2 seems like a no-brainer to me.”
Resisting the urge to make any more vague zombie-related links I will just leave you with the trailer for the DLC…

This DLC looks really good. Plus it is a good price. Shame Gamestation took my Borderlands along with Overlord 2 in exchange for MW2.

I think the trophies were included in the original game trophies, It came with 56.
The threshold is generally 51.
I just looked at my list and one is called ‘House of the Ned’ so going with a definite yes

Nah the trophies came out for the game just a couple of weeks after release and a day before I got the platinum trophy, meaning I am yet to see it at 100%.
).
The trophies are included in the same trophy list though if that’s what you meant (or that’s what you might claim to have meant now I have said that
