Competitions eh? Don’t you just love ‘em? Well we do, so to celebrate the launch of Gravity Crash we’re holding a level create competition and a chance to win some TSA Points, which can now be exchanged for Games Basement loyalty points (full details on that soon) once you have over 1000. We have 100 points for each entrant and a whopping 500 for the winner, plus some of you will get to see your level featured on the main site in a round-up.

To get started, load up Gravity Crash and make sure you’ve had a good play of the tutorial, campaign levels and maybe a few other user levels to, so that you know what makes a good level, and then all you have to do is create something amazing, well… something better than my pitiful effort which I’m currently working on. Your level must be TheSixthAxis themed although you can interpret that anyway you want, just have fun and good luck!

Rules:

  • You have a week to create and publish your level. Closing date for entries is Thursday 03/12/09 at the very end of the day. Midnight.
  • You must be a registered member of TheSixthAxis to enter.
  • Your level name must be in the form “TSA LevelNameHere”. (with LevelNameHere being whatever you want it to be)
  • You must email competitions@thesixthaxis.com with your PSN Username, TSA Name and Level Name so we can go and find it easily.
  • You may only enter one level into the competition. If you publish more than one, only the level name submitted via email will be entered. If you email more than one level to us, no level will be entered.
  • You may not republish your level after the closing date, so we can judge on the version that you submitted.
  • TheSixthAxis reserves the right to disqualify any entry at any time for any reason, and our usual terms and conditions apply.
  • The winner will be decided by a reader poll on the website after the closing date.

  1. Well I can safely say that I’ve already won this… :-)

    • I can’t as no game means no level designer.

    • The entire landscape is cock-shaped, isn’t it?

      • Well I can safely say I’ve already lost this… ;-)

  2. still not sure whether to get this game yet, this comp may swing it… but will have to catch up on the mechanics of it!

  3. i bought the game today, because the demo version was very nice.

I like the game very much. i think i will participate on this competition

  4. Great game and should be an incentive for those unsure to get it. I won’t be entering as I do not have a creative bone in my body.

  5. Awesome, I was hoping for a gravity crash competition. Good luck to all entrants, I already have a few ideas for my entry.

  6. Fo sure, taken the jump and signed up for TSA eventually. Gravity Crash level editor is a huge draw for me. All the best to everyone.

    • Welcome!

  7. Great comp. I’m loving this game.

Time to shoehorn a TSA reference into the level I’m working on. ;)

  8. Cool competition, shame I do not have this game. :(
A free 100 points would have been sweet. ;)

  9. If i create a level, will you rate too ? :) :)

  10. Did i miss the results of the Zombie Apocalypse competition?

    • I’ve been wondering the same thing.

      • They are properly stunned by my crazy highscore! :D

  11. I haven’t got around to playing this game yet, although I have downloaded the trial. Hopefully this competition will give me the incentive to buy it, if I can tear myself away from Assassins Creed 2 !!! ;)

  12. Damn, manorhowze is already good at designing levels but I’m up fot it… nice competition!

  13. Will give this a crack. I started designing a level for it, but it sort of went in its own non-TSA related direction. Unless you guys work in a tower positioned over a lava pit, I don’t think it fits the theme of the competition…

    • lol, I played that level earlier. And strangely reminded me of my work

not the tower over lava, just the general air of hostility

  14. TSA Prison Outpost submitted! :D
