After months of beta testing, Media Molecule are finally ready to release LittleBigPlanet’s Online Create mode, as part of the always cheesy Leerdammer 1.21 update. The patch, which unlike the recent t-shirt proudly celebrating the release of the PSP version, will be free, and will also feature numerous tweaks and fixes, not least the way the game handles network code – selecting ‘Play Online’ will now find people closer to you (and thus with hopefully less lag). There’s also improvements to the save structure, profile space and the new ability to create backups of your levels.
For the resf of the improvements, click here – a trailer for the update is available here.

Hmm, this is too late for me. I don’t play LittleBigPlanet anymore, I got bored of it.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing game – I just see no reason to return anymore.
A new level pack would push me back on though.. *Hint Hint, Media Molecule*

I’m not sure about the way the game will now save into Game Data instead of Save Data. As Game Data is common to all the users on a PS3 system, will we only be allowed one save file per system? I’m worried, as there’s 4 users, with a save file each, on my PS3.

We will have to wait a long time for PS4.
