Dead To Rights, for those of you who don’t know, was a game full of murder, corruption, betrayal and canine sidekicks for the Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube. Its next-gen reimagining is slated for release next year. You play Jack Slate and with the aid of four-legged companion – Shadow – you will trudge through the criminal infested location known as Grant City to avenge your Father’s murder.

It promises some interesting fight mechanics and with the ability to control Shadow, there should be a few interesting moments within the game. Developed by Volatile Games and Published by Namco; this is the latest developer diary and this time we get an insight into the character design.

In case you missed the previous developer diary, which detailed the combat within the game, you can watch that too:

  1. That looks pretty cool, just a shame it’s 360 only.

    • It’s for PS3 too. :D

      • Ah, cool, thanks.

      • yes i am ganna get this

  2. Graphics are looking smooth. Not sure about the game though.. Would have to play a demo or rent it first.

  3. Looks good, but the combat video reminded me of Terminator: Salvation, where you can just move from cover to cover. The 360 combat does look good though.
    Nice doggy :D

    • this looks cool

  4. wasn’t really following this one but it’s starting to look interesting from those videos.
don’t know about anybody else but i’d rather you didn’t take direct control of the dog, give him commands to attack and the like but don’t take direct control, except maybe a co-op mode.
and good to see he’s more effective in combat than the dog in fable, love him and all that but he can’t even beat a few beatles.

  5. Looks like Nathan Drake has beefed up a bit

  6. i wanna get this game
