When No More Heroes HD was announced for Xbox 360 and PS3 the release date of February raised a few eyebrows as the date precedes the launch of Natal and the PS3 Motion Controller Stick. Sure enough, game creator Yasuhiro Wada has confirmed that NMH HD will not use motion control.
“Since the concept for the remake is to bring the game to a wider audience, we aren’t currently considering to use uncommon new technology.” he said, “Basically everything will be controlled using the analogue controller. We are reworking the control scheme to improve the sense of being in the game. ”
Wada also confirmed that nearly all the graphics, models and textures in the game are being remade from scratch.

Motion Control offers nothing for me at the moment. I have my Wii for stuff like that. Once the games get better on it and make good use of the control (rather than a poor lightgun type game) I will be going for it, but for now I am happy with my Dual Shock

I’m with you on that, but if it brings the ps3 to a wider aidience, that can only be a good thing.

What a shame. Would of been good, and as said before it would bring a wider audience to the PS3.

It would of been better to do this with sony’s motion controller.

I’ve got this for the wii.. It is an awesome game but really doesn’t suit the wii at all.. Really looking forward to playing it on a proper console
I wonder how they’re going to implement the phone calls you used to get through the wiimote though?!!
