  1. Poor update tbh, but I have something more to look for since my new PSPgo arrived. And nice to see some new offers

    • is the go any good ? is it worth the money ?

      • Yup, Yup… buy it… not that you were asking me!

      • Can you afford the digital only games though? GTA: Chinatown Wars 29.99 with the PSPgo’s download only service, or £14.99 on UMD is just one example why I’ll never by a machine when you can only but the games from one destination and therefore miss out on all the benefits of competition.

Still it does look lovely and shiny.

      • The donwload only service is the one concern I will have, and the trouble is it will only get worse as there will only ever be Sony distributing these titles, and with no rental model in sight and no trade-in games are now a fixed price with no chance of getting anything back.

      • Ok… you do pay something of a premium to have one the example cc_star gave is perhaps a little exaggerated as if you’re a PSP Go owner you should only ever buy via Zavvi PSN cards which give a 20% discount so CTW would be £24, still £9 higher yes but alot better than £15 higher. Most games though are not so extreme, £17.59 for LBP or Arctic Edge for example (UMD’s £18 – £20).

The lack of resale value is an issue but for me it has just made me a little more selective of the games I buy. The bottom line for me is a play my Go so much more than I ever played my 3000… on a £ per hours of play I really am quids in!

  2. Not too bad for me, not expensive as only a couple of demos and videos, but I haveseen worse weeks.

Does anyone know how many parts the uncharted comic is? I watched part 1 but refuse to buy more until I know how many I will need to buy.

    • 5, I think. Don’t quote me though.

    • what did you think of it? I’m not too sure might pick the rest of them up if there not too many or if they release them in a bundle

      • I thought that, I am interested to see how the story goes and five episodes would be about my limited (4 chargable) but any longer and I couldn’t be bothered with it.

      • Watch em on youtube

      • I went for it and bought them. Not watched them yet, but I am already annoyed by it. Episode 1 was stored under Videos on the XMB, 2,3, and 4 are all under games. RUBBISH.

  3. Please people – No whining of ‘wheres our PS1 classics?’ comments. SCEE hate is getting old now.

Will pick up the Bayonetta demo, I’ve heard good things.

    • Do you know where they are then? Please tell us.

    • i played the one on the japanese store..its wicked! let me know if the euro one is any different tho :)

      • Its the same I believe.

    • You should really check out Digital Foundry’s comparison between the ps3 and xbox versions. They’ve selected the best bits for the demo as the ps3 release has some major framerate problems. Damn crappy ports. Hopefully they’ll patch it before its western release. Check it here —–> http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-bayonetta-faceoff

      • I agree – Digital Foundry is one of my fave web destinations, and by all accounts the PS3 version of Bayonetta is a bag of shit in comparison to the 360 version.

  4. Still no Motorstorm Artic Edge demo.

    • This has been up for 2 weeks mate. Try searching it in the store

      • Must have missed it somehow.

  5. To be honest i was hoping for f1 and pro evo for psp!! its ridiculous that they have been out in shops for weeks and still nothing!!!

    • It’s coming next week according to Mike on the EU blog

      • F1 that is.

      • i’d take that with a pinch of salt.

      • You don’t trust SCEE. I’m shocked :)

      • yeah i don’t know what i was thinking.
what on earth could have lead me to such a conclusion :)

  6. Nothing for me, a couple of DLC freebies and the Bayoneta demo are accompanied by nothing else really. :(
Peter Pan may be worth a look. ;)

  7. I haven’t heard much about this bayonetta but will download that later.
Might also pick up the Assasins Creed 2 wallpaper.

  8. Meh, nothing for me today.
Might get the EyePet and Shift free DLC just for the sake of it – don’t play them anymore.

  9. Bayonetta demo the only thing that tickles my fancy this week. Heard good things so want to see what all the fuss is about…

  10. A big content update, though only a couple of things I’m interested in (and they’re both free).

  11. Dark Mist looks a steal for £4, might indulge in that methinks.

    • It’s a really nice shooter. I would love to see a trophy patch some day.

      • Yeah, shame. Trophies or not, its a great price and just forgot of its existence until now, quite lucky actually with the price drop. Was always meant to pick this up when it was released but never got round to it.

    • looked like a cool game but i read that every so often you have to keep shaking the pad to clear the screen as it goes dark, i can imagine that really getting on my nerves after a while.

  12. Killzone map packs are tempting me to spend money on the store for the first time since summer

  13. This is a grim update…

Bleh still gotta wait for FFVIII. SCEE needs to get it’s act together. Compared to NA and JP we have pretty worthless stuff.

    • I wouldn’t hold your breath for FFVIII. Wish it did come out though, it’s the only one I’ve lost the disc for so I don’t actually have a copy

  14. Just the Topatoi demo and the free Eyepet stuff for me, plus the GT5 video of course!! ;0

  15. Bayonetta… mmmmm! Quality not quantity, happy now.

    • agreed…sexy witch action for me laters :O

      • Is that before or after you download the demo?

      • It had to be said…
