UMD Peripheral For PSPgo Rumoured

If CVG’s sources are correct then a UMD peripheral could be headed for the PSPgo. Apparently Logitech are working on the device, which would more than likely plug into the slot that houses the Memory Stick Duo, allowing owners of Sony’s download-only handheld device to play UMD-based games.  Logitech UK, however, have denied any knowledge of such a device with a response of:

We’re not aware of it, so it may be something the US office is working on.

There has been no word yet on this from Logitech US or from Sony. Surely an additional peripheral for the PSPgo would make it a lot less portable, no?
