Microsoft have announced that their exclusive racer – Forza 3 Motorsport - has exceeded the 1 million units milestone. The extremely polished game, developed by Turn 10, has been out for just over a month and already 6.6 million hours of online games have been played over 64 million play sessions. It has held a very stong position in the UK 360 chart ever since its release, too.
Recently released DLC for the game has added another 10 cars to the game’s existing, and extensive, choice of motors. TheSixthAxis gave Forza 3 10/10.

i wish i still had my 360 purely because of this game. Hopefully if pc world keep me on after xmas, this will be a definite purchase along side a new xbox

i still have a 360 but it’s rarely turned on these days….i seem to be on god of war collection and assasins creed2 on my PS3. Forza3 is good but i think GT5 will kick it’s ass.

This game looks ok but the backgrounds are a bit cartoony althought the frame rate is a solid 60fps which helps it a lot….1million units isn’t a lot if you take into account that it’s been out a while now and there are around 30million+ or so 360 owners….actually not that good then when you look at the figures.

i would of expected it to do abit better tbh, its an awesome game, this is the stat i liked the most -
players have driven a combined total of over 590 million miles, this is equal to “more than three trips from the Earth to the Sun and back”

it is still a good game but i personally hope that the GT5 developers get the online racing sorted because GT5 prologue online sucked a bit where as Forza3 online racing is very good.

The season play in Forza 3 is huge, almost finished it, tried to get online a few times but it never worked so didnt bother after that.
I would have expected it to sell a few more copies but theres still a couple of weeks left till Santa gets here and you know he has like 1K copies on order from Game.

Just ordered this last night, have to wait until christmas to play it though. Loved it when I got to play it on my friends 360. Not a suprise its sold so well

I can’t wait to check it out for myself. I bought it for my brother for Christmas, and hopefully he’ll be willing to let me give it a go. I’m really interested in the expansive livery customisation.

Is that it?! I thought Forza would have sold way more than this by now. Hasn’t it been in the charts since it’s release? And surely if you include the American sales, it should be well over 1,000,000 units by now.

never played forzer, is it considered a ‘funner’ game than gran turismo? much prefer fun over realism (realism looks nice but i just cant drive any other car than my c1!)
