Green Day Rockband Announcement

American idiots get in on the music game action

Spike TV’s 2009 Videogame awards is proving quite a source of news, as the latest announcement is that another band will be adding their back catalogue, favourite venues and of course likeness’ to the Rockband franchise, the title will be out sometime 2010 – my money is on October.

If you’re lucky you should be able to see the American Idiots in pixel form below, although the uploaded vids are being taken down all the time.

Man, I could mention 10 other more interesting bands, but rock band / gh is a dead franchise imo :)

i can’t believe how such an exciting and influential band, have become so bland and watery.
now if i added an ‘r’ to the word band, that woul probably also work….

are green day really good enough for this? the beatles were (i dont really like the beatles but can acknowledge they were great) but green day….? id rather see the rolling stones version, thatd be awesome
