The EU PlayStation Blog has revealed the final SingStar update for 2009, and it’s quite a big one. Included in the sizable chunk of tunage are some Christmas favourites, party hits and some Hogmanay flavoured crap that you’ll probably end up singing to pissed at midnight on NYE. There’s also four extra song packs, featuring Eddie Grant, The Jackson 5, Il Divo and what the team call ‘SingStar Party Picks’, which loosely translates to ’songs your mum has heard’.

    What? shockwave that makes literally no sense unless I am missing something very obvious which is very likely, but still… please elaborate on your reply to my comment which was an approach of portraying my hate towards JLS through a comment on a TSA article.

    Maybe he thought you hated it so much you’d consider it the most ultimate punishment for all who listen it. Thus forcing them to do so. This is called sarcasm and is a very common phenomenon on the internet.

A bit off topic I know, but does anyone know I’d they’ve fixed the latest patch yet so that it no longer prevents downloaded tunes from working?

  Not sure, but I know there’s been a few songs lately that I’ve wanted and being this time of year it’s when most people are going to want to play it, but I’ve not dared load the game up for fear of it deleting the songs I have downloaded already.

Grr I hate JLS. Even though that performance on X Factor with Burkey made me hate them a tiny bit less. I’m guessing TSA is collectively not the type who like X Factor?

I’m a little bit dissappointed by this update, I was kind of hoping for more christmas songs to get my hands on. Would be nice to have a really good selection of classic Christmas tunes to drunkenly belt out.

Still no beyonce, Usher, more MJ, and modern chart stuff other that the odd one here and there.

Pretty poor if you ask me. and I wish they would sort out the patch rubbish, i’ve had to download al my songs again for the 3rd time now in the past couple of months, what on earth are they doing?!

Is there some sort Internal developer who has a hatred of Karaoke and has his heart set on sabotaging the game???

I just want to play it, like when i first bought it and it just worked!
