UK PS3/360 Charts: Week Ending 12th Dec

Whoever sits atop of the charts as of next week will take the title of Christmas number 1. So who’s moving and shaking this week and can anything topple Modern Warfare 2 from the top? It will be interesting to see if the recent VGA awards will have an impact on next week’s charts.

UK PS3 Chart: Week ending 12th December:

Modern Warfare 2 has slipped from the top of the PS3 chart this week; Assassin’s Creed 2 has taken the crown although it hasn’t slipped far as it currently now occupies 2nd place (it’s still number one on the all format chart, however). Nothing much else is happening apart from a couple of games changing places. Uncharted 2 is still holding firm at number 5.

UK 360 Chart: Week ending 12th December:

Modern Warfare 2 still straddles the top of the Xbox 360 chart, which is hardly surprising seeing as it appears to be a marriage made in heaven when used with the LIVE service. Elsewhere in the chart, Forza 3 climbs back into the top 3 and Halo 3: ODST makes its return after slipping from the top 10 completely last week; it now sits at number 7. Lips: Number One Hits climbs seven places to make its top 10 debut.
