Ahoy, me hearties! You may remember extra trophies for LittleBigPlanet were discovered and somehow those riddle solving masters figured out that LBP would be receiving Pirates Of The Caribbean DLC. Well now we have the release date. Priced at £4.79 (€5.99), the extra content will be available on the 22nd of this month (in the Christmas update).

What do you get for your galleons, you say? Included is:

  • New Gameplay features for Create: Water – Global Water Object, Scuba Gear, Bubble Machine, Water Switch
  • 5 Brand new Pirates of the Caribbean themed Levels
  • 1 New costume: The Cannibal: Leg Bands, Teeth, Nose Decoration, Hair, Loincloth, Skin
  • 4 new music tracks
  • A new level background
  • 8 Materials
  • 14 Decorations
  • 27 Objects
  • 133 Stickers
  • And the 11 new trophies

There will also be a selection of costumes available on the 22nd, either separately or in a handy LittleBigPack, including Sack Sparrow. And, if that’s not enough to convince you then check out the LittleBigPirate’s trailer.

      I disagree. Why the f*** would you buy this when you can get a WHOLE T-Shirt for nearly as much??

      :P Kinda shows though how much of a bargain this pack is (or how much of a rip-off that t-shirt is).

        Agreed. Their costume packs for a smidging under £4 are an absolute rip-off but I suppose they’re quick and easy to make and people are buying them so the business plan is working.

        Well done to MM for getting this new level set done and ready to roll, and for a good price!

    I wasn’t really fussed about the MGS pack, but this one is tempting! Not a bad price for LBP DLC either.. Are they finally listening to the community’s thoughts on the prices?

      I think what they do is charge outrageous prices for costumes and sticker packs to subsidise the cost of these bigger packs, the MGS pack was also cheap for what it contained. (Just my idea, as far as I know Media Molecule have never mentioned it, and I doubt they would even if it was true.)

        Credit Cards are a step backwards. They should be forced by law to rename them ‘Debt Cards’.
