Those two Assassin’s Creed II DLC packs we mentioned have now been priced. Some further information relating to the objectives soon to be on offer have also surfaced.

The Battle of Forli ($3.99) will see Ezio team up with Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza to defend the city against the Orsi brothers. Expect six new missions – there’s even a flying one – with the usual clandestine antics of the Templars thrown in for good measure.

Bonfire of the Vanities will cost an extra dollar (probably about 50p/€0.75) at the princely sum of $4.99. This series of new memories will open up the previously cordoned off Florence area as Ezio goes after the monk Savonarola. To aid him on this quest Ezio will have a new “spring-jump” manoeuvre.

The Battle of Forli arrives late January 2010 with Bonfire of the Vanities hitting the following month. Non c’è male!

  1. Great news… definitely buying these DLC

    • After completing the game reasonably quickly and getting all the achivements i cant wait for somthing more for the game, hope the DLC gets Trophies/Achivements too

      • So a deffinate buy for me aswell (Clicked Submit a bit quickly there )

    • Can’t wait, played over 40hrs of it already – the ending of AC2 just left me wanting more! :)

      • Well your gonna get more.

  2. Fantastic! :)

  3. Kovacs??

    • Yes?
      :)

      • Who are you? lol :P

      • Woah! and what hodgi said.

      • I’m …. eh…. new!
        :)

    • Kovacs is Brodiesan or Lee if you’re getting friendly, an experienced (and really rather good) writer who has been gallivanting around the world for ages but wrote for another PS3 site before that.
TSA staffing has been going though a bit of a tumultuous time recently due to forces beyond our/their/my control. Hopefully things will settle down now we’ve assembled a very competant team of guys who are all capable of working together and writing with style and skill.

  4. Loved ACII, didn’t take that long to finish and platinum either, so looking forward to these DLC packs, has it been confirmed that the UK will get them, and do they come with trophies?

  5. Great, havent even completed it yet, hopefully will by January.

  6. Awsome, I was expecting them to be 10$ each (CoD5, I’m looking at you) but this is definitely a buy. It would be nice to be able to fly from certain points of the cities (Tops of towers, view points, etc) by having Flying Machines placed there

  7. I’m a little bit bored with this game. Rented it on Friday and I’ve done..not much. Not even the first DNA bit or whatever it is. Just can’t get into it :(

  8. Great news, I still need to get this game!

  9. That pricing sounds about right. Day one purchase for me then.
Oh, and the PSN pricing works so that $1=€1, rightly or wrongly, and from either of those you can figure out the pounds based on how much previous stuff cost.

So Forli will cost £3.19 and Vanities will be £3.99.
A touch over £7 for both is pretty much spot on.

  10. I’ve completed the game to 100%(even opened all the treasure boxes and got the 6 extra weapons by playing Bloodlines) so you could say I like Assassins Creed

I will be buying these packs.
