Splinter Cell: Conviction is the latest in the stealthy franchise and as you all know by now, it’s exclusive to the Xbox 360. The latest trailer for the adaptation of Tom Clancy’s work is all about playing with a friend.
The trailer says “Experience the prequel to Splinter Cell: Conviction.” I’m guessing this means that the co-op missions will have their own storyline separate from the main campaign.

Well It’s not really exclusive to the 360, I’m picking it up on PC.
Anyway, looks pretty good. Good ol’ co-op.

No, but most 360 exclusives aren’t really exclusive, just console exclusive.

Most of them also turn out to be timed exclusives as well… But Ill also get the PC version, as there’s no PS3 one.

I was never really a fan off Splinter Cell co-op for some reason, looks like a decent enough single player to make it a worthy purchase though.

Of all the 360 games it is this one which I wish was coming to the PS3
sure I can play it on a pc, but sitting in a crappy computer chair in the spare room is hardly the same as playing on 42″ with surround sound. Console gaming is all that matters to me and the 360 software lineup is all the richer for having this in

Not that covinced with this Splinter Cell. Splinter Cell and Pandora Tomorrow were good. Got silly and a little vague after that. Good stealth game but it will always be eclipsed by the EPIC Metal Gear Solid.
I hear that Syphon Filter 5 is possibly in the pipeline too, so good variation for the stealth section of the gaming world :o)

Hell yeah! One of the best parts of Double Agent was working together splitscreen with my brother. It’s interesting that it’s a prequel now. Double Agent’s storyline happened at the same time for the co-op and the single player.

I think that’s cause they’re emphasising that you’re on your own in the main story. Hard to do co-op where you’re on your own ;)

I absolutely love Splinter Cell, and this looks amazing. I remember playing co-op on Pandora Tomorrow (I think) on the original xbox and it rocked.

This and Alan Wake are the only titles on Xbox360 that I wish that were coming to the PS3. Guess I’ll have to miss this splinter cell.

I hated Splinter Cell years ago but this game looks outstanding. I’m really into co-op games just now, I feel so much more involved. Anyone want to buddy up when the time is right?
