11Europeans will have to wait three long weeks before getting their hands on the new SOCOM: Confrontation DLC, Cold Front. Launching on the US Store yesterday, fans of the tactical shooter are lighting up the official EU blog comment section expressing their dismay at the delay. The source of the discontent stems from the inherent disadvantage Europeans will now face as their American counterparts can access EU servers with new and improved weaponry from the US pack.
Chris Weatherhead, SCEE’s European Product Manager, has attempted to explain the delay by stating:
In this instance the delay has been down to the fact that we physically couldn’t get this pack loaded on to all of our 29 storefronts before the 7th of Jan.
Price is still to be confirmed. Whatever it is, expect fans to be unhappy about that as well.
