Please Note: The Charts are taking a different format this week because my stupid computer died and I’m unable to make the more asthetically-pleasing tables. It will return to normal for next week, but for now, lists will have to do.
With Modern Warfare 2 claiming the Christmas Number 1 so convincingly it’s no surprise that it is still holding firm as the number one game on both charts, making it the 7th consecutive week at the top of the all formats and 360 charts; it’s reign was split in two on the PS3 chart thanks to Assassin’s Creed II. But did anything happen in those four days before Christmas to change the rest of the Top 10?
UK PS3 Chart: Week ending 26th December:
The short answer is ‘not really’! The top 6 haven’t changed at all from last week, 7 & 8 switched places, PES 2010 slipped a place and Tekken 6 climbed back into the charts to 9th place.

It’s a very similar story on the 360, too. Just take last week’s chart and jiggle it around very slightly…in fact I think that’s how the charts are actually worked out; it’s science.

It is worth mentioning that FIFA 10 is only 2,000 units away from taking Modern Warfare 2’s crown.

I hate MW2, I played it, can someone please tell me what’s so good about it?
I WAS SOOOO EXCITED when I bought the game, when I finished it, I was happy coz of the GREAT ending but I prefer Assassin’s Creed 2, inFamous and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves more, what gives? I don’t understand all the hype.

I haven’t even loaded MW2 up in the last week.Those corners must be awfully crowded after christmas.Nice to see pro evo up there.

It’s great, especially when you’re in a whole match full of noobs. Nobody on your team to take your kills and another team filled with noobs just to slaughter.

Agree with you. MW2 is no doubt a brilliant game, but COD4 has just raised the benchmark too much for MW2 to be groundbreaking and also everybody overplayed the first MW therefore everybody is sick of it. I still find MW2 very addictive but tend to have a few days seperating each of my MW2 sessions.

I agree, noob killing is the funniest thing ever. I tend to use a USP 45 with tactical knife against prestiges and noobs alike and get many killstreaks that way. One all noob game i was in i got 36-3-4 which was hilarious

Yeah, same here. I’m probably in the minority but I just seem to get bored of it after an hour or so of play.

I only play hardcore mode, so I don’t get noobs as such, let them fight it out amongst themselves and I find it funnier killing guys who have prestige 5 or so and I waltz in on level 69 and just own them, they hate it and because I don’t use a headset they get even more annoyed when I don’t answer their petty remarks

Top left corner of the screen has a list of Meets. just after your Log in name, click Call of Duty, then in the Call of Duty Meet click the link to add yourself to it

well, it’s happened, never thought it would but there it is.
a game that wasn’t fifa getting to number one and i’d rather it was fifa.
why on earth is the first modern warfare in the charts too?
bet it’s the parents bought it for their ikds thinking it’s the new one.
