My bill last month was around £40 from the PStore alone! I need to stop impulse buying!

Anyone know how good it is – I think £3.99 minis are a bit overpriced for a punt, when something similar is probably on the iPhone for free or 59p

All i know is that the players don’t have their real names, kinda like PES used to be. I hope it’s good because i don’t an iphone yet!

Best simple football management game I ever played was on an Excel spreadsheet!
Maybe that has to do with it’s built-in “looks as if you’re working” functionality though.

I might be tempted to get this, very little info other than 1 blog post.
Looking at the dev’s site they do an iphone app called managed your football club for £3.49

Looking at the vid of the iPhone/iPod Touch version, I think it suits the touch screen very well – and I have my iPhone with me far more than my PSP, so I think I’ll go for that

Update ! Had a go on a mates PSP and unfortunately This is Football Management is dreadful.
Having played Football Manager way back on the Spectrum in the 80’s and many, many other games of the genre since I was really hopeful that this game would do the job but no. Truly shocking menu layout and non coherent gameplay make this the worst game I have ever played on the PSP. Yep it’s only 3.99 but this game http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0003319 made in 1991 is far superior (shame they didnt just port that!).

I’d agree with this. I’ve played it a lot for a review I’m writing and alongside FM09 (which is under a tenner on Play) it looks like a school project.
Not at all impressed.

EU are a week behind once again on rock band tracks. I was looking forward to the blink 182 02 pack.

Eu are always behind. But we do have PlayTV and Vidzone
But where’s he CLASSIC PS1 games, like Tomb Raider, Abe’s Oddessy, FFVIII.
They would make so much money bringing them over here, instead we get load of Disney crap every week, it’s embarassing
There must be a reason for this, does anyone know?

Tank Battles & TV Show King are both old games but now have a try before you buy…hopefully this means devs & SCEE are learning it is a wise move to always have a demo.
Tanks Battles is actually a good old fashion blast with friends or online (assuming you can find someone online to play it! – Plus the price has been permanently reduced from its original launch price).

Yeah, I’ll be getting the Tank Battles trial. Many hours were wasted with friends playing on http://www.tanktrouble.com so this should go down well

is there a demo for pixeljunk racers? online multiplayer? Would people advise a purchase?

There’s a demo on US PSN. It’s local multiplayer only, I believe. It’s fun enough, but I wouldn’t buy it. Beware that it’s not really a ‘racer’, so to speak – kind of like a puzzler set in a racing theme. You’ll see what I mean when you play it.

It’s a kind of slot cars sim, not really a racing game as such, much like shooter isn’t really a shooter.

I will definitely try the Dark Void demo, and will perhaps re-download the Cabbage Moon trial to see if I want to take the plunge while it’s on offer.
And we need a demo for Hustle Kings, damnit Sony!

It’s worth noting that FFVIII will be released at the end of January. Mike Kebby posted it in the comments on the EU Blog
