Like Left 4 Dead 2 but don’t have a gold account? Don’t want to pay for the subscription? I don’t blame you. Stilll, you will be happy to know that you can shoot zombies online all you like next weekend, as the game will be free to play. Hooray.
As of 5pm on Friday 15th Jan, the game will be free to play online for exactly 3 days, which you more mathematically minded may have noticed means it finishes at 5pm on Monday. So, you’ll have no excuse to not shoot zombies in the face and have the hell scared out of you by the Witch. Unless you don’t own the game, in which case you should go and buy it right now – here’s why. It’s a no-brainer (ha!).

There’s no bronze subscription. Silver is signing up to XBL, Gold is paying for XBL so you can play online and start parties and such.

This just enables those with silver to play L4D2 with all of Gold’s features for 3 days. It’s like a trial, to get more people to upgrade to gold.

Wait, you have to have Gold on 360 to play L4D2 online? That’s ridiculous! This game in fact has no SP.
If it is true, why would someone buy it for 360?

You have to have Gold to play online games on 360, full stop. Silver is just some DLC and a Xbox account.

yeah, i think all features other than the ones you can pay for individually ie. DLC and content from the XBLA.

there is a single player mode, but it’s basically the multiplayer game with bots instead of other players, and the bots aren’t exactly up there with hal 9000.
it’s a fun game.

wouldn’t hal 9000 get all paranoid and try and kill you? i’m not so sure that’s a real plus point for a co-operative natured game

I wish ps3 would get l4d1 at least, I can’t afford an xbox they have 2 many needs. Do u think it will ever go 2 the ps3 like dead rising 2? R maybe Sony release a better l4d as their exclusive

They just don’t know how to programme codeto work on a PS3, they lazily just port it straight frm the 360 version (Orange box, Im lookin at you, lol) How cme Uncharted and killzone look amazing (without mandatory installs, may i add) yet valve cant get their game’s to work properly on the ps3 :S

You have to have gold to play this game, you get bored incredibly easy if you play through by yourself. Also if there’s any left 4 dead 2 players out there, i’ve arranged a meet on wednesday 8pm so put your name down, when it’s been approved, if your interested.
